- Shows every package NDC of a product in the 11-digit billing format, with how the conversion was made.
- Keeps a curated directory of HCPCS drug codes and billing units, and links each code to the FDA-listed products it applies to.

Who it is for
Medical billers and coders, pharmacy and revenue-cycle staff, and anyone who needs to identify a drug product or understand a drug code.
What it is not
- Not an official source. Med-Code is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FDA, CMS, the National Library of Medicine or the American Medical Association.
- Not medical advice. Nothing on the site is a recommendation about treatment, dosing or the use of any product.
- Not a billing or payer policy. Payer rules decide how a drug is billed. Verify codes against the payer and the current code sets before submitting a claim.
- Not a CPT source. CPT descriptors are licensed by the AMA; Med-Code does not reproduce them.
How the data is handled
NDC records come directly from openFDA and are shown as published, with capitalisation normalised for reading. Anything Med-Code adds — the HCPCS directory, billing references, explanations — is labelled as Med-Code’s own.
